Skyline 08B

Description

This is actually three photographs joined together: one for each half of the skyline, both aligned on a more zoomed-out photo capturing the whole scene. This way, I get the coverage I want, with better resolution where I need it than I can get with a single shot. (My camera is only 3.3 MPix, but the portions of this image near the horizon have resolution closer to what you'd get with a 10-MPix camera.)

Taken from St Clair Ave, just a bit north of I-670. I don't think I've ever seen the Columbus skyline photographed from this angle before. I should come back on a summer morning so the sun's on my side...

This is a beautiful shot! Ive always loved skylines of cities. I only have one of my home, but i took it from too far away and my photo in general came to crap...so ill do another one soon probably. But wow, snow on the ground and everything! This scenery is really cool. Even though im not one for snow, i think the last time i saw snow (was actually in it) was in 1996.
