CSB Establishing Shot: Steak n Shake

Sequential art is hard, mostly because one generally has to produce a lot of it. This establishing shot from my webcomic, Cool Story, Bro!, isn't the best quality I can produce, but it's an adequate result for the amount of time I allocated to the task. I do wish I'd ensured GIMP's pencil tool "smooth stroke" option was checked before drawing all the line art for this update.

As I mentioned, I drew this in GIMP, which I'm still learning to use. I also used an old Wacom Graphire tablet, and GIMP seems to always record full pressure from the pen, so my strokes always tend to have little hooks and tails at the end where I pick the pen up. References sourced from a Google Image search, not traced.

While I don't currently plan to post every CSB update here, I do think I'll submit establishing shots and other artwork that works out of context.
